Sculpture and Art Object: Standing Objects by German Art Artist Iz Maglow

Standing Art Objects by Iz Maglow

[ Ladders ]

For his series "Standing Objects" German Art Artist Iz Maglow was inspired by "Ladders". He combined monochrome structured paintings on canvas with artificial ladders or objects reminding at a ladder.

Like golden skeletons leaning against the wall, ladders and monochrome surfaces remind at places and events. Titles like "BÉZIERS IN JUNE 1209" or "CARCASSONE" assist view and interpretation.
Iz Maglow uses his ladders as symbols that transform values like "power", "possession" or "ways to success" into visual art objects, - similar as he used his "Chairs" in Sculpture and in Fine Art Painting a few years later.
